Come together with other baby-boomers, and people of all ages, to learn essential yoga poses, breathing practices and meditations to assist in the prevention of loss of vitality and wellness, and to aid in healing, especially for issues effecting older adults and seniors. This class is perfect for those of us recovering from an injury or illness, seeking to age gracefully, coming back to your yoga practice after a long time away, or who are brand new.

Specific topics areas include: balance, flexibility, strength and improving energy levels. Emphasis is also placed on brain health and cognitive function with a discussion of scientific background that explains how movements, meditations and mindfulness practices help to sharpen the mind. The emotional and spiritual aspect of transitioning into older age and the re-evaluation and rethinking of one's life is honored inside it's own module with practices to cultivate equanimity, compassion and celebration.

Requisite Experience

No prior yoga experience is required!  A range of props are utilized to make this class ideal for everyone: all body types, ages, and skill levels welcome. This workshop is not designed for people who cannot get on and off the floor unaided and need to practice in a chair.

This is a 6 week series. Sign up for all 6 sessions at once for a discounted rate of $170 or drop in for $30 per class.  Revolution Yoga members receive a 15% discount.

Refunds: Automatically go back to the pack or membership used to register.

Payments made in studio with cash are refunded as account balance

In the case of registering with a Drop-in Fee, your credit card will be refunded.

NOTE: Automatic refunds are not processed for series when cancelling on the app. Please contact studio for refund.

Cancellations within 12 hours of the start time.
