Be Well: Yoga for People with Parkinson's Disease
People who practice yoga experience diffuse, profoundly positive effects, including helping to make daily tasks easier and improving your mood, to stimulating chemical changes in the brain that affect cognition and the amount of dopamine available to be used. This yoga class is explicitly designed for the unique challenges of those with PD. Come join us every Thursday afternoon for an exploration of the possible. No yoga experience required, but all participants must be able to get up from and down to the floor on their own.
Taught in coordination with the primary teacher Suzanne Drolet
