While guidance from a teacher is important to keeping on track and motivated with your personal goals remember that you make the decisions and have control over what happens in your life. You choose what aspects of your life to put the most attention on and take action with. Now is the time to make the changes you have been wanting.
Through the contact I have had with many of you over the last years I have seen the work you have done already. You have already started to make positive changes, create good habits and become more committed to your health and well-being. Improvements are happening even if it feels like an uphill battle sometimes. I praise your dedication.
We all want to succeed, we just need help figuring out what we need to do in order to get there. Take the time to reflect on yourself and determine your own strengths and weaknesses. Let's get real, good mental and physical health takes continuous and consistent action. As one of your teachers and guides I not only hope for this commitment from you, I increasing only work with people who I perceive to be capable of great growth. I challenge you to keep going; Stay focused; Don't give up now. There is so much within your reach. The best way to stay motivated is to set achievable, short-term goals, and emphasis your improvement.
And, why wouldn't I be excited for you to keep growing? Being strong, flexible, invigorated and empowered in one's life is amazing! I can't wait for you to feel how good life is when you're taking care of your body, mind and heart. It just gets better and better.
If your old routine just isn't doing it for you anymore I suggest you try something new. This could be a change of scenery. The brain loves novelty and a new setting for your practice can be just what you need to stay motivated to learn and grow. One's home can be a great learning environment. It's familiar and safe.
